When W.E. started, the internet was like the wild west with cowboy companies building sites to ‘trick’ the search engines. W.E. never got involved in any of that, instead concentrating on beautiful sites, great content, and honest coding. It paid off as the sites we built then are still at the top of Google listings today.
Our move into e-commerce was not straight forward. We worked with a number of different e-shop software providers until we realised that our clients would be better served by going with one of the worlds best. Ecwid by Lightspeed
Five years ago we moved into the Corby Enterprise Centre. Although only a small space it allowed W.E. to work from a more centralised location that gave better disabled access and a more business orientated environment to meet new clients.
In 2021 we moved away from building our websites ‘by hand’ using HTML and PHP and finally embraced the phenomena that is ‘WordPress’. This has allowed us to master ‘Elementor’, an incredible piece of software that allows our client to take control of editing their websites easily and without our input (mostly). Handing over the reigns to our new clients has been a major step forward for both us and them.

Steve has developed and optimised websites for every continent in the world. He advises business on the best strategies to maximise their Internet presence.
Sanjay is our new accountant having recently taken over from Rosemary who retired in June 2021.
W.E. employ a number of freelance SEO experts and website developers. They mostly work for us remotely.
