Four Brief Case Studies
REMIT: When we first started working with Premier over 14 years ago they already had an Internet presence but required it to be optimize to put them at the top of the search engines for a large range of keywords. Once this was achieved (and W.E. continue to sustained it) Premier were keen to know how they might expand their dominance globally. Being an international company with agents across the world they needed to attract new clients from a large number of countries. After consultation W.E. came up with an ambitious plan to build and host sites in each target country. Although initially labour intensive to do it was soon evident that locally hosted national websites were the best way to gain good google listings across the globe.
OUTCOME: This has been a particularly successful project that has resulted in Premier substantially increasing the number of enquiries they receive via their websites. We continue to work with them on a daily basis to ensure their Google status and listing.
REMIT: Henry James Mortgages approached us over 3 years ago to build them a website that would work well in attracting new clients for their premium ‘bad credit mortgages’ business. They were looking to utilise Google AdWords via a third party company and needed a site that would convert advertising clicks into enquires. W.E. worked with them to get a design that clearly delivered their message whilst encouraging their visitors to make an enquiry via their on site contact forms.
OUTCOME: The design and optimization of the website was successful in attracting visitors, imparting information quickly and clearly. Then most importantly getting visitors to enquire using the contact forms. This helps keep advertising cost down whilst maximising profits. We have recently worked with Henry James Mortgages to better optimize their website for mobiles.
REMIT: We began working with Norfolk Boards over 8 years ago. Having seen a gap in the market for American style activity games, such as Cornhole and Shuffleboard they required websites that would be well listed on Google and also allow them to work with Amazon. The designs needed to be well optimized for organic search results as well as offering a robust e-commerce solution built into the website. Over the years, as the Internet has grown in sophistication, we have had to update their e-commerce solutions.
OUTCOME: Norfolk Boards business has grown year on year. Today they have established themselves as one of the leading Cornhole and Shuffleboard supplies and promoters in Europe. Their success is down to, quality products, hard work, excellent networking and websites that work with their business model.
REMIT: Stephanie Burnham approached us a few years ago to help her promote her bead design training business and to sell her products online. Initially our focus was around an e-commerce solution provided by Ecwid. Although this increased business a little it was not the success W.E. or Stephanie had hoped for. The underlying costs were proving too large for the amount of turnover it was generating. A different solution was required.
OUTCOME: Eventually Stephanie took the decision to move her business onto the Esty platform whilst still retaining her business presence with her website. The move to a dedicated crafts promotion e-commerce solution was the right move. It put Stephanie’s business right in the centre of a community that were looking for her products.
